Bitstream Animation, Inc. announces the World's first Custom Home Theater
Introduction in DTS ES 6.1 discrete.
Rochester,
NY - Staying on the forefront of technology, Bitstream Animation
announces the release of their first home theater intro, "CeRT",
in DTS ES 6.1
discrete and Dolby Digital 5.1 EX. This is the first time any
custom home theater introduction has been released in the 6.1
surround format.
Listening to
customer demand, the choice to make their intro available in 6.1
DTS ES Discrete was a move that CEO Richard Fairbrother found
easy. "It has always been our intention to bring the best picture
and sound to out home theater enthusiasts and after seeing the
demand for a true 6.1 mix, we are delivering. It's critical for
us to listen to consumers." Richard acknowledges the help from
the largest online home theater forum, www.avsforum.com.
"It's wonderful to have a dedicated consumer base that gives credible
feedback."
Using DTS and Dolby Digital technology, Bitstream Animation's
surround sound mix, exclusively created by Skywalker Sound, envelopes
the listeners in 6.1 surround sound and focuses attention on the
capabilities of the theater owners' systems. "It's what everyone
wants, the chance to show off," states Richard.
Home Theater Introductions allow enthusiasts to play short animations before their feature presentation, adding a personal touch to their own theaters and recreating the movie going experience at home. The company has found a successful niche in the market for introductions, a product that enthusiasts can't get enough of. From popcorn poppers to candy racks, enthusiasts continually look for that extra edge to showcase their own theaters and supply the experience of a large cinema at home.
"Aside from having the new surround mixes, we've added new content
to the "CeRT" intro so that the disc has a greater replay value.
Adding this only makes it more attractive to home theater dealers
and owners." More info can be found at their site www.customintros.com
Scott Esterson, Pro-Audio Manager of the Americas for DTS commented, "Having a company like Bitstream Animation continually seek to push the audio envelope with their product has made it fun to work together." Richard echoed the sentiment. "Not everyone offers a DTS mix, but we always will. The support we have gotten from DTS has been spectacular."
