Bitstream Animation Wins Best Intro Award

Serving the growing market of home theater owners, Bitstream Animation has won an award for Best Home Theater Customized Introduction from Stargate Cinema. Customized Introductions are pre-feature entertainment that home theater enthusiasts watch before their movie or DVD in order to recreate the commercial feel of the cinema at home.

Based on quality of animation, original content by Bitstream, and the unique design and mix by audio by Skywalker Sound, Stargate Cinema gave the award after only 3 months of availability to their clients.

"It represented to us, the best in entertainment, the best look and sound, and the best replay value. It pushed the envelope with truly original elements and they (Bitstream) understand the market completely," states Ken Lerch, President of Stargate Cinema.

The DVD includes animations which showcases discrete surround and the video resolution of home theaters. It also features a nostalgia factor by including the oft-remembered and loved drive-in trailers "Let's All Go to the Lobby" and "Yum Yum Hot Dog".
